Our little photographer.

Zak has become quite the good photographer. He got a camera for Christmas and has insisted on carrying it every were with him. He takes photos of everything. He not only takes the one photo but he moves the object and moves the camera around for a better shot. He has taken over 800 photos since Christmas and loves looking at his work on the computer when he is done. Here are a couple of the shots from him. The first one he was taking a photo of Dad opening up a Christmas present but got so excited when he saw Santa on the box that he took a picture of the box. 2. He loves taking pictures of Kody. He'll do something to get his attention and then take the photo just like at the photo studio. 3. His toys. I don't know how many pictures we have of his toys but this was the first one he did. He took over 50 pictures of this airplane that night. He took them with the airplane in the hanger outside the hanger, next to the hanger, with the camera on the floor, with it on the chair, up top. What a little creator.

update

Ok I know I've been terrible about updating this lately. Life has just been really crazy with the holidays and everything so here is the update for the last month and a half. Kody got his first tooth on 12/23 and now he has 2 of them both on the bottom. He loves to bite on anything he can get his hands on including his brother Zakary who freaks out because we have been teaching him to not bite. Christmas was way fun at our house this year. Zak was so excited to see if Santa brought him what he asked for. Of course he did. Zak got 2 dinosaurs that walk when you push the button on the back, a remote control car, and a bunch of stuff from grandpa. He loves all his presents and is still finding time to enjoy each of them. Kody got a roller ball to help him crawl but he seems to be doing fine just rolling around. He has discovered that he can get the things he wants by rolling and turning so there is no need to crawl. We got Kody's 5 and 6 months pictures taken I will post them at the end of this. I can't believe my baby is 6 months almost 7 that is crazy. Zak is turning three next month and we are getting ready for his birthday at our house. He loves the little Einsteins and everything has to be "Super-fast". Zak has also discovered he is pretty good at working the computer like his daddy. He got a webkinz whale from his brother for Christmas and every morning he akses if he can feed it, get it dressed, and play games. He has designed the 4 rooms by himself and it is way cute. Mom is also hooked on webkinz and can find herself wasting the whole day playing pizza palace. (It is very addicting). Dustin and Kari went and saw Body Worlds 3 at the Leonardo this past weekend. It was really cool. If you didn't get a chance to see it I would recommend taking a trip to Vegas to look at it. Kari still hasn't taken down the Christmas decorations in our house because she likes the way her house looks and feels with them up. so who knows maybe they'll be up all year. J/K we have valentines day to decorate for. This last year was pretty hard on us. Not only financially but emotionally and physically. We can only pray and hope that 2009 will be better. So for everyone that I did not get a chance to tell Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. This year with all the hustle and bustle some of our friends got left out. We want you to know that we love you and wish you and your families the best. We hope 2009 brings you everything you need & want.
